Final Submission Instructions
Submission Period: July 25 – August 12, 2025
To finalize your project submission for the OpenxAI Hack Node Australia Hackathon, make sure to complete both of the following:
1. Submit via GitHub
Create a subfolder in the GitHub repository under your selected track’s HACKATHON-SUBMISSIONS folder.
In your folder’s README.md, include:
- Project Name & Description
- Your Full Name, University, and GitHub Username(s)
- Link to Demo Video (2–5 minutes; unlisted YouTube or public TikTok/Instagram link)
- Link to Social Media Post tagging @OpenxAINetwork
- Any setup instructions needed to run the app
Then:
git add .
git commit -m "Add my project"
git push origin your-project-name
Finally, create a Pull Request (PR) to merge into main. In the PR description, include:
- Your Project Name
- The Track
- A short summary
2. Submit via BlockseBlock
Visit the Hack Node Submission Page and complete the following:
Page 1 – Project Basics
- Select Project Status (Active, Inactive, or Hold)
- Enter:
- Project Name
- Project Description
- The Problem it Solves
- Challenges Faced
- Technologies Used (tag at least one)
- Media & Links:
- Project Presentation Link (e.g., GitHub repo or Notion doc)
- GitHub Repository Link (same repo where your code is pushed)
- Demo Video Link (same video from GitHub README)
- Platform Selection (Web, Android, iOS, or MacOS)
- Cover Image and Logo (required)
- Optional: Upload additional photos or screenshots (up to 5)
Make sure the information in GitHub and BlockseBlock matches.
Bonus Visibility (Highly Encouraged)
- Post your demo video or app teaser on X, Instagram, or TikTok, tagging
@OpenxAINetwork - Share your project in the #app-showcase channel on Discord (OpenxAI Builders)
Judging & Prizes
Submissions will be judged on:
- Innovation
- Technical Execution
- User Experience
- Impact
Winners announced August 15, 2025, via email, Discord, and social media.
