What exactly is decentralization in AI all about?

We hear the term thrown around a lot, especially with Web3 but when it comes to AI, it’s still a developing space.

Most of what we use today relies on closed APIs, limited access, and rising costs. Decentralized AI flips that by letting developers run and manage models on shared, community-powered infrastructure with more control and fewer restrictions.
